Fans of Hollywood Vampires may not have to wait much longer for new music. The rock supergroup has hinted that another studio album is in the cards, although finding time to record remains the biggest challenge.
Alice Cooper recently shared that he believes a new Hollywood Vampires album will happen eventually, but joked that it might only become a reality once Johnny Depp steps away from his famously large French estate and everyone’s schedules finally align.
A New Hollywood Vampires Album Is on the Horizon
The band’s latest studio album, Rise, was released in 2019, and while there has been no official announcement about a follow-up, Cooper remains optimistic about the group’s future.
Speaking about the possibility of recording together again, he said:
“I can’t imagine there not being one. But we all have pretty demanding day jobs. And you want to try getting Johnny out of his 44-room castle.”
The comment highlights the challenge of coordinating four musicians who all maintain busy careers outside the band.
Busy Careers Keep the Band Apart
Hollywood Vampires features an impressive lineup that includes Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry, and Tommy Henriksen. Between international tours, film projects, and other musical commitments, scheduling has become the band’s biggest obstacle.
Joe Perry also spoke about Depp’s dedication to music, explaining:
“Some people in his camp are not happy he’s taking a couple of months out to play music. But when it’s time for Johnny to play guitar, he knows it’s time.”
His comments underline Depp’s passion for performing, despite the demands of his acting career.
Live Shows Come First
Although there is no confirmed release date for a new album, Hollywood Vampires continue to focus on live performances. The band is preparing for more concerts across the UK and Europe, where fans can expect a combination of original songs and classic rock covers that have become a signature part of their live shows.
Alice Cooper also admitted that putting together the setlist is never easy because the group has built such a diverse catalogue over the years.
Fans Have Plenty to Look Forward To
While a third Hollywood Vampires album has yet to enter production, Cooper’s latest comments suggest the band has every intention of returning to the studio when their schedules finally allow.
For now, fans can enjoy the group’s upcoming performances while looking forward to what could become the long-awaited follow-up to Rise. If everything falls into place, Hollywood Vampires may soon be back with brand-new music.
