Adam Lanceley may be a name unfamiliar to many, but his prodigious musical output sees him releasing in seventh album in only 3 years. This would be remarkable enough but Adam has achieved this by overcoming obstacles most people would simply give up immediately over. Suffering catastrophic brain injuries when he was only ten years old after being involved in a car crash, Adam learned to walk and talk again from scratch and had countless setbacks along the way, setbacks which ranged from bullying to mental health issues. Despite this, after a brief dalliance with acting, Adam never gave up on his dream of becoming a musician – which brings us bang up to date.
Epitaph to Innocence is typical Adam, bright, breezy, irrepressibly positive, which dashes of Dylan and smatterings of West-Coast surf pop. Regardless of your feelings towards the music, there’s no denying his passion and determination, an example to many.
