Dynamic duo Ciircus Street arrive on the indie-pop scene

The musical form of a duo has only been rekindled in recent years with the emergence of rock acts such as Royal Blood and Slaves taking inspiration from the trendsetters like The White Stripes and The Black Keys, but now, Reading based mates Jim Crowder and Sam Brett have put their musical minds together to form the indie pop duo, Ciircus Street.

Inspired by nothing more than a street sign on a night out which they thought would make a good band name, the boys decided to form a duo, focusing on indie pop stylings with a little bit of attitude thrown in for good measure

Sound wise, fans of Ed Sheeran will certainly relate to what Ciircus Street are doing, whilst The Kooks and James Bay aren’t a million miles away either.

Their debut single, ‘Mouth Like That’ is a hook driven track that lingers in the back of your head long after it’s finished. The song isn’t out until July 14th, but for now you can check out an acoustic version which the lads put together below:
