All-girl synth pop band Jagara are back with their latest single, ‘Let Me Go’ which supposedly draws influence from the television show, Deutschland 83.

Set in Germany in the years prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall, Deutschland 83 which aired in the UK earlier this year, had a storming soundtrack befitting of the era with music from the likes of New Order and Peter Schilling.

Jagara have managed to adopt the vibe of both the time period and the music with ‘Let Me Go’ which exhibits echoing vocals, deep pulsating beats and charmingly plasticky sounding synths (as you would expect of the 80s).

‘Let Me Go’ provides a real throwback to the 80s, imitating the style of the decade perfectly, yet reinventing it for a modern audience.
