Record Store Day Black Friday 2026 Announces Exclusive Vinyl Releases from Florence + The Machine, Noah Kahan and More

Record Store Day is bringing another major celebration of vinyl collecting to independent record shops this November. The 2026 Black Friday edition will feature an extensive selection of exclusive and limited-edition releases, with music from Florence + The Machine, Noah Kahan, Sombr, Jessie Ware, Shawn Mendes and several other artists.

Vinyl collectors have another date to add to their calendars. Record Store Day Black Friday 2026 will take place on Friday, 27 November, bringing a new collection of exclusive releases to participating independent record shops across the UK and Ireland.

The annual event celebrates physical music formats and encourages fans to support independent retailers rather than relying exclusively on online shopping and major chains. This year’s line-up includes special editions, previously unreleased material, anniversary collections and recordings receiving their first vinyl release.

Among the most notable names are Florence + The Machine, Noah Kahan, Sombr, Jessie Ware, KATSEYE, Carly Rae Jepsen, Shawn Mendes and Bruce Springsteen.

Florence + The Machine, Sombr and Noah Kahan Lead the Line-Up

One of the headline releases comes from Florence + The Machine, whose Everybody Scream (Chamber Version) features alternative chamber arrangements of four tracks from the album. The special edition offers fans a different interpretation of the band’s recent material.

Sombr is also included, with the first-ever vinyl release of his In Another Life EP, pressed on silver vinyl. The release gives collectors an opportunity to own the project in a physical format.

Other highlights include Noah Kahan, Jessie Ware, KATSEYE and Carly Rae Jepsen, reflecting the range of contemporary pop and alternative music represented in this year’s collection.

For Shawn Mendes fans, the line-up includes MTV Unplugged, while Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will release Live at Tower Theatre Philly 1975, offering a glimpse into an important period of the musician’s early career.

Rare Recordings, Anniversary Editions and Special Releases

Beyond current chart names, Record Store Day Black Friday continues to appeal to collectors through archival recordings and anniversary editions.

The 2026 selection includes 2Pac’s Pac’s Life (20th Anniversary), celebrating two decades since the album’s original release. Playboi Carti’s MUSIC – SORRY 4 DA WAIT will also receive its first vinyl release.

Rock fans can look forward to releases from The Chemical Brothers, Queen, The Coral and Billy Idol. The collection also includes a special edition of Queen’s festive classic “Thank God It’s Christmas”, while Cher’s Christmas EP offers another seasonal addition.

For collectors interested in live recordings, Holly Humberstone’s Live from Cruel World features two performances from her 2026 BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session.

The range of genres and formats is part of the appeal, bringing together pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic music, jazz and seasonal releases in one event.

Supporting Independent Record Shops

Record Store Day Black Friday is more than a collection of limited-edition records. Its central purpose is to encourage music fans to visit independent record shops and support the businesses that contribute to local music communities.

Participating shops will make the releases available exclusively from 8am on Friday, 27 November, while stocks last. As many editions are produced in limited quantities, availability will vary between retailers.

Brandan Nolan, owner of Sticky Black Tarmac, highlighted the importance of giving people a reason to visit their local record shops, browse their collections and discover music in person.

The event also offers an alternative to the usual Black Friday shopping rush, placing the emphasis on music discovery, collecting and independent businesses.

When Is Record Store Day Black Friday 2026?

Record Store Day Black Friday will take place on Friday, 27 November 2026. The exclusive releases will be available from participating independent record shops across the UK and Ireland from 8am.

Fans can explore the official release list and check participating stores through the Record Store Day UK website. As quantities are limited, collectors are encouraged to contact their local shops for information about availability.

With releases spanning established artists, emerging names, archival recordings and special vinyl editions, this year’s event offers plenty for music enthusiasts to explore.

For independent record shops, it is another opportunity to bring their communities together. For collectors, it is a chance to discover a special edition, revisit a favourite artist or add something unusual to their record collection.
