K-pop fans around the world will be able to experience one of the biggest Korean music and culture festivals from home this weekend. KCON LA 2026 is set to take place in Los Angeles from August 14 to 16, and Samsung TV Plus has announced that it will livestream the festival internationally, opening the event to audiences far beyond California.
The three-day festival will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena, bringing together major K-pop performances alongside Korean food, beauty, entertainment and lifestyle experiences.
KCON LA Goes Global
The new livestream partnership highlights how quickly K-pop has evolved from a regional music movement into a truly global entertainment industry.
From August 14 through 16, Samsung TV Plus will provide live coverage across 17 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, France, India and Thailand. The service is subscription-free, allowing fans who cannot travel to Los Angeles to follow performances from home.
The coverage will include performances from the M COUNTDOWN Stage and TOYOTA MUSIC DEN Stage, bringing some of the festival’s biggest moments directly to viewers worldwide.
A Major Line-Up of K-Pop Stars
KCON LA 2026 features an impressive line-up designed to showcase both established K-pop acts and emerging artists.
Among the headline acts are NCT 127, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) and ZEROBASEONE, with each headliner receiving an expanded one-hour performance on the M COUNTDOWN Stage.
The festival will also feature artists including JO1, MEOVV, P1Harmony, YEONJUN, TAEYONG and more, creating a programme that spans different generations and styles within K-pop.
More Than Just Music
While K-pop remains at the centre of KCON, the festival has grown into a broader celebration of Korean culture.
This year’s event expands beyond music into K-beauty, K-food and K-story, giving international visitors an opportunity to explore different aspects of Korean popular culture in one location. The festival has also introduced new interactive experiences, including the K-STORY ZONE.
That broader approach reflects the growing influence of Korean entertainment around the world. Music, television, film, fashion, beauty and food are increasingly interconnected, with K-pop acting as one of the major entry points for international audiences.
Streaming Is Changing the Festival Experience
The decision to livestream KCON LA also demonstrates how the festival industry is adapting to a global digital audience.
Major music events are no longer limited to people who can physically attend. Official livestreams allow fans from different countries to experience performances in real time, while social media gives audiences an opportunity to react and share moments as they happen.
For KCON, this global digital reach is particularly important because its audience already extends far beyond South Korea and the United States. The 2026 edition is continuing that international approach by connecting fans both inside the venues and online.
KCON LA 2026 Is Ready for a Global Audience
With KCON LA 2026 beginning on August 14, anticipation is building among fans preparing to attend the Los Angeles festival and those planning to watch from home.
The combination of major K-pop performances, Korean cultural experiences and international streaming makes this year’s event another important milestone for the global expansion of K-pop.
As audiences around the world tune in, KCON LA 2026 is set to demonstrate once again that the future of music festivals is increasingly global — and that fans no longer need to be in the same city to share the experience.
