Today, Los Angeles-based artist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Julian Rose makes his introduction with the release of his debut EP, ‘How Deep.’
EP’s three tracks — “How Deep,” “Movin On” and “Her Majesty” — demonstrate Julian’s eclectic and genre-defying sound. Seamlessly blending elements of classic rock, soul, funk, hip-hop and pop, the music is timeless and refreshing all at once.
“I was feeling very unhappy and felt like the future was hopeless. I was stuck in the monotony of life,” he says about the moment he felt he needed to throw himself into making music full time. “However, I always knew that music was the one thing that had been there for me. So, instead of relying on other people, I decided to rely on the thing that carried me through all the ups and downs of my childhood.”
