Weekend Recovery – New Single “There’s A Sense”

Leeds 3-piece, Weekend Recovery, are back with a brand new single ‘There’s a sense’ out on the 5 June 2020. This is a garage punk song drenched in hooks and guitar swirls that’s both hard hitting but also glimmers with indie pop. Influences of grunge, Japanese punk and a whole lot in-between, this song takes you on a rollercoaster ride to make you bounce, dance and shout along. This is the second single from their upcoming album ‘False Company’ (release date announced soon).

Band Bio:

The Bands profile has been building with their last single gaining a huge amount of attention from the likes of Radio X, Amazing Radio, Kerrang! and was playlisted on Planet Rock while they sold out show after show on their UK tour. Winning hearts of music fans, promoters and journalists across the UK with glowing reviews from the likes of NME, Music Glue, Weekend Recovery have a bright future. Led by front woman, Lori Forster, who creates personalised merchandise and artwork for fans, is an icon in the making.

About the single:

Lori says ‘I wanted to write something that captured the intensity of being an artist in the music industry, the insecurities, the paranoia and almost playground antics of people out there…’ ‘I also wanted to capture the energy that makes me get up in the morning and keep doing what I’m doing, with a smile on my face and master plan in mind’.
