After 50-odd years in the business, we can perfectly understand that Fleetwood Mac might be toning things down a little, even with a world tour imminent. Not so for guitarist, Lindsey Buckingham who has by all accounts (apart from the band itself) been summarily dismissed from the band for disagreements around the aforementioned tour. This isn’t the first time Buckingham has thrown chaos around in the camp, following a near decade-long departure lasting until the mid-1990’s – “creative differences”, one might say. Drafted in to replace Lindsey are Crowded House mainstay, Neil Finn and Mike Campbell, guitarist from Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers. We wish them all well…particularly Lindsey whose finest moment is regularly overlooked.
