Tell us a little bit about where you’re from?
I was born in Manchester, spent a few years living in South London but then Moved to Birmingham around the age of 9.
How has your location affected your music?
A lot of your influences come from where you grow up and the things you have experiences, so Birmingham has given me that grounding and also has taught me a lot, especially as I’ve had some good people and talented artists around m.. However as an artist I feel that I have had to make those trips down the M1 as whether people like to admit or not the UK music industry is based in London and so its you have to make yourself heard in the capital and put in that extra work in terms of making that journey.
What genre would you describe your music as?
Hip-hop
What are you listening too? What are your influences?
I listen to a mix of UK and US artists. From Krept and Konan, Stormzy and lady Leshurr to J-cole Lemar, Chance the Rapper, then might put on some James Brown or even some Gospel music. My main influences growing up were Nas, Tupac and Lauren Hill.
Where can we see you play?
My EP is almost complete, and so then I will be focusing on doing some shows very soon .
Are there any evocative personal experiences that come through in your music?
All my songs are stemmed from personal experiences, situations and thoughts and feelings and so through this I hope to empower and motivate and connect with people in one way or another.
Tell us about your live setup?
