Pallab Sarker used to work as a ministerial advisor to the last labour government, donning his suit during the day, then tearing it off at night, like superman, to become his other profession of a signer-songwriter.
For a long time, Pallab led this ‘double-life’ balancing act, but at one point he did join the two, playing a concert inside the home office for charity, which raised thousands of pounds for children in need.
Now, the talented musician is focusing more on what he enjoys doing, releasing his new track, ‘Not Gonna Fall In Love With You’. Having had his previous single ‘Morning in Brixton’ played extensively over US college radio, Pallab has already built a name for himself across the pond, but the London based singer-songwriter is now looking to do the same here.
Having performed in a band earlier on in his career, Pallab has the experience at hand to go solo and since then, he has developed an indie-acoustic pop sound that displays his arresting voice and moving melodies that complement each other in perfect harmony. Within Sarker’s work is a humanizing touch, most clearly exhibited through his kind, clever lyricism and its sonic journey instigating abilities, which can be found on ‘Not Gonna Fall In Love With You’.
