Japanese Fighting Fish, four lads who anchor themselves in London, are bringing a fun new edge to rock with their electrifying new album ‘Swimming with Piranhas’, diving deep into ferocious riffs and bringing you back to the surface with strong vocals from frontman Karlost.
‘Swimming with Piranhas’ is the third release from Japanese Fighting Fish and explores new depths with the addition of Matt McGuiness. Mochizuki Ellmer’s pedal board createds the ‘biggest space sounds at just the right time’, according to Karlost, whose wild vocals captivate throughout.
Their latest single from it, ‘For Queen Marilyn’, was written spontaneously after arriving at the recording studio and being asked to ‘just play something’. With a Muse worthy rift, and grungy bass the song was born. Unwittingly, the Queen was born! After some development, the new track is now available on SoundCloud here!
Being supported by BBC introducing stands them in good stead, following in the footsteps of legends like Cage the Elephant and Royal Blood.
