A Cambridge street performer, Si Cranston has gone onto sign a contract with Warner Music Group.
The singer/songwriter with a natural talent for creating catchy tracks of inspired music has been featured on BBC Radio and accompanied The OverTones on their nationwide tour.
After years honing his skills on the street of Cambridge and headlining at many events from Twinwood through to Rivolli Rooms, he now has been spotted by Conrad Whitey (A ‘n’ R President). After the successful record signing, BBC Radio 2 snapped up his music and featured it on their playlist. Terry Wogan, also spoke to Si on his show and has given his praise towards the busking superstar too.
His vintage sound has seen him rise to the label of being, King of all things vintage and has brought him a great deal of success on the street of Cambridge so far. Recently supporting acts such as The Overtones on their Nationwide tour and BBC Radio 2 having featured his work on their playlist, it is fair to say that the time is now for Caterham-born busker.
His latest single is called ‘Caught in the Moonlight’ and has a sweet and smooth sound. Think Jamie Cullum meets Michael Bublé. His lyrics roll off the tongue and give that summer festival feeling. So lets all join hands and sway from side to side for this very special track.
