The United Kingdom is beginning to open its doors with cinemas, pubs and restaurants finally getting the all-clear but you can neither sing hymns, torch songs nor bellow death metal as the government ‘bans’ singing, for fear of reigniting the COVID-19 pandemic.
We fervently back #savenightlife’s campaign to save small venues, musicians, staff and culture at large by asking for support for all those affected at this time. Here’s what you can do too:
- Upload a picture of your last experience within Nightlife or upload an original picture of you and friends enjoying a night out in support of the #Savenightlife Campaign which can be shared across their social media platforms requesting further support from friends and colleagues! – This will serve as a visual petition for the Government to recognise the immediate support that the sector requires to survive this crisis and runs parallel to a political lobbying campaign which is being presented to the Chancellor and No.10.
