Daisy Hicks returns with jazz inspired pop songs

Daughter of legendary jazz drummer Tony Hicks, Daisy Hicks returns with new jazz inspired pop songs exploring love and heartbreak. Seasonal single ‘Christmas Without You’ will soon be followed by ‘French Cafe’ for release early 2017.

Being the daughter of Tony Hicks and related to international recording artist Chris, it’s no surprise Hicks was going to be a talented musician. Classically trained in jazz, Hicks began her career in this genre but has since deviated from her roots and explored the industry. This led to her being signed by Concept Music by the young age of 19, whereby she released her debut album ‘Mistress’ which broke in the UK, Japan and European markets.

Hicks continued to take the industry by storm collaborating internationally with the likes of Aron Friedman, Malcom Maddock and Tim Laws to name only a few. From being played in thousands of shops around the globe to having her music featured on US hit TV series ‘Pretty Little Liars’, there is no stopping Daisy Hicks!

Daisy’s upcoming material follows a new laid back jazzy style, which was recorded on Elton John’s old piano in his Beverly Hills house. However the recording process was a struggle for Hicks as many of the studios were were her father recorded in the past and he sadly passed away recently.

Not only a beautifully crafted single ‘Christmas Without You’ but 10% of digital sales will donated to BBC’s Children In Need.
